Coonawarra, Australia. Variety 100% Cabernet Sauvignon. The Bard range pays tribute to one of Australia's most celebrated lyric poets, John Shaw Neilson, who grew up in the cottage on the Hollick Neilson's Block vineyard. Cherry red in colour with a raspberry-coloured rim. Lifted Coonawarra Cabernet flavours of bright fruit, well balanced with French oak. Classic Coonawarra characteristics of lifted cassis fruit, supported by subtle cedar and spice notes, with a long finish of integrated tannins. From the excellent 2019 vintage. Cellar 5-10 years. Alc/Vol 14.8%.
